App deep links for an initial group of developers are now live in Google Search on Android.  You can read more about how to try this out yourself in the blog post.  Note that for now, the feature is available in English in the US.  Also, users need to be signed-in to see the deep links for apps that they have installed.

I don't really get the advantage over just having the Android app opens when an intent with an URL from our website is browsed  (like the YouTube Android app that already opens when I browse http://www.youtube.com/ URLs).
 
+Mathieu Méa One advantage is that Google know that your app listens to that intent and can handle it. Therefore they can for example show an icon open in app. That icon wont show if you only do it your way.
