Even people without celiac disease have taken to eating gluten-free foods, but the options are still limited, which means you might wind up in worse shape -- physically -- than ever before.

I agree about the comments.  It's funny how the comments in articles in many cases are a lot more insightful and informative than the actual article itself.

I agree with one of the comments that said that eating gluten free is much easier when you are eating real foods.  Meat, fish, eggs, veggies.  Not any gluten there.

I'm a little dubious about "gluten-free" things like pancake mix, cake mix, bread, etc.  Maybe every once in awhile.  But in general, I don't think those things are all that much better than the products with gluten.
