The key to making an amazing sandwich is choosing the correct meat & ingredients. This sandwich I made starts out with the 3 spicy pepper #baconsausage from +Big Fork Brands. I also sautéed peppers, onions & asparagus and then topped with mozzarella cheese & some stone ground mustard from the #MustardGirl. What I created was a delicious sandwich! #Chicago

+Larry Mccafferty everything we caught was totally legal. We had to throw some amazing fish back that were not in season or of legal size. We did grab many lane snappers which were amazing baked.

Just a lazy day at the beach! Bring $2 if you want to walk on the pier...I've never seen that. I figured the $2 an hour to park the car would cover that. #beach #florida #pier

Come for the beer but leave before your food arrives. This place has terrible food. I honestly do not know why people even order food here. Our crab balls were incredibly fishy. I personally don't like eating seafood that tastes like the sea and I believe the quality was lacking on this particular dish. I would also stay away from the fried calamari. It was just kind of blah. I'm sure it was frozen because I make fresh calamari at home and this didn't look like it was fresh. The only app I can recommend is the Southwestern Egg Rolls. These were really good but what deep fried food doesn't taste amazing with some bar beer. Speaking of beer it doesn't get any fresher then this. They brew it here, so shipping is not charged. I wish we had just stuck to the beer. Next time I come back and I mean if I come back it's only for beer. My entree was terrible. My tuna was dry and it had a weird color inside when I sliced in. My friend also remarked to me that my tuna looked strange. My fish also came with a side of garlic fries. These use to be my favorite but not after this trip. The garlic fries were missing one key ingredient & that was garlic. How does a franchise screw up their garlic fries? I'm not sure nor am I coming back to find out.

When I am working at the Las Vegas Convention Center this is the only place I ever eat lunch at. This review is entirely for the offsite location they have at the LVCC lower South Hall. If you find yourself on the convention floor and your looking for an authentic & delicious Indian meal, then I highly recommend this place. The food is always fresh and it uses the finest of spices and ingredients. I can really taste it and I love it when I find a whole chunk of spice. This tells me that the dish was made with love. I've also been lucky enough to meet the owner. He is a really nice guy. His love for cooking really shows in his food. The tastes are so amazing. On my last trip to Vegas I ate all of this over three days for lunch: Chicken Curry, Lamb Tikka Masala, Sag Aloo, Navrathan Korma, Chicken Karahi, Lamb Vindaloo, Dal Makhani, Gajjar Aloo, Chicken Makhani, Lamb Rogan Josh, Tadka Dal & Mixed Vegetable. That seems like a lot of food but trust me it was all portion controlled. I want to point out that the lamb is really tender and juicy. If you're not a lamb person you will be after eating here. And don't forget to wash it all down with a Mango Lassi. Eating lunch here is the highlight of my convention life and I can hardly wait until my next business trip back. This place is totally a favorite of mine and I hope you will fall in love with it too.

This place reminded me of Thanksgiving dinner. I really wanted to take a nap after eating here and there's a good chance I gained five pounds. I was running for days after eating here. Would I do it again? Yes! I loved coming here and having the experience. The food is served buffet style and you can come back for seconds or thirds if you have any room in your belly. I tried a little bit of everything. I really loved the fried chicken. I wish I would have filled up my whole plate with that. The staff was really nice and answered all of my questions like "What's That!!!" I'm sure they get that a lot from other customers. I also liked the stuffing, the sautéed pork loin, Mac'nCheese, mashed potatoes, jerk chicken & the soup. As you can see I was in carb overload. For dessert we went with our waiters choice. He told us the banana pudding was fantastic and he didn't lie. We were so happy we trusted him and I look forward to our return, once I feel hungry again. This food surely packs a punch.

Are you looking to drink back in time? Then this is the place for a straight up martini and a little jazz music. This was one of the places that Al Capone use to hang out and drink at. In fact, if you want to sit in his favorite booth then you still can because it is still here. Capone was not a great guy but he is part of the history of Chicago and the mob. He was a public enemy yet he hung out and socialized with the people of Chicago. Capone would never survive in modern America. He is one of those icons that will live on forever. The bar is old so don't come here expecting a fancy jazz club. It probably hasn't been remodeled in over 70 years. There is a cool Schlitz Beer statue at the bar and I hear it's an original. Capone never allowed any other beer to be poured here. He might punch me in the face for drinking my Milk Stout today. I sometimes miss the times when a bar would have just one beer. It made ordering a beer easy. Now I need a book to order a beer. So if you're looking to have a drink in a historic place in Chicago then this is the place. They also have live music but I would call them first in order to find out who is performing and at what time shows start.

I was getting Jazzy in here. I had just seen Whiplash on an airplane and I was ready for some jazz. If you haven't seen that movie then I highly recommend it. Everyone loves a psycho jazz instructor. Right? So Andy's was the perfect place for me to relive the movie except no one threw a chair at my head. Sometimes I wish movies were real. This place charges a cover and it is different on various nights. I would either call or check the website. This way you can find out the set times and how long each band will play. There is also a two drink minimum. This place serves food but I haven't eaten here. I did see other people eating but it is a Jazz Club. There's so many restaurants down the street, so I'm not sure why someone would eat here. Maybe they just love Jazz that much. The band that we saw was really good. It was a four piece set. The songs were good along with the performers solos. Sometimes solos go on too long but that is just a statement and not a complaint. I felt like the band was entertaining and it was great to sit center stage in the second row. We were close enough to enjoy all of the great music and not be on top of the band. Our waitress was all business. She brought us our drinks and really never came back to talk to us. It would have been hard to have a social moment with someone when you're yelling over loud jazz music. Our drinks were also really good too. So if you're looking to Jazz up your life in Chicago then this is the place. It's located in the River North area, so it is nearby all the night life. It's a great joint to catch a drink and a live show.

Really? This is Gordon Technical High School it is sad how people can donate money and get a name change. This is just one more thing in Chicago where money talks. Gordon Tech goes on the list with the Sears Tower and Comiskey Park 2 as places that were influenced by the almighty dollar. Five stars is for Gordon Tech. I graduated there and was involved with everything. So people don't like high school but I enjoyed it. I learned many valuable life lessons. Thanks to the great teachers and staff for making me the person I am today. No thanks to my sophomore Spanish teacher who only taught us how to sing songs in Spanish. You ruined me actually learning a second language. I must also say no thanks to the lazy soccer coach who taught typing while reading the sports section all day during class. Honestly typing 40 WPM is not a C...you messed up a lot of GPA's and thanks for my only C in 4 years of high school. Maybe I should lower my stars because of those two teachers. Nope I won't let them being me down. Many alumni are not happy about the name change but I guess the school closing would be even more traumatic. So the long history of Gordon Tech is wiped clean for the new DePaul.

I typically avoid the University area because parking is a pain in the butt, then I found out they now had free parking. Honestly that is what was killing all of the businesses in this University complex. So the free parking worked and it brought me back to the area. The location is small and cute. The service was friendly and are sandwiches were cooked fresh to order. I loved the perfect warmth & crisp of my BANH MI bread. We ordered two sandwiches. The Honey Grilled Pork Shoulder Banh Mi with lemongrass, honey, garlic, scallions, pickled daikon, carrots, cucumber, cilantro & jalapenos. This sandwich had some amazing flavors going on. The one thing I didn't like was the quality on our cut of pork. We had to pull some inedible fat from our mouth. I'm hoping this was a one time problem & on our next visit it will be perfect. We also ordered the Sunny-Side Sautéed Beef Banh Mi with caramelized onion, sunny-side up egg and crispy sweet potato fries. I really enjoyed this sandwich. The meat quality was perfect and everything worked together on the bun. So if you're in the area and looking for a fresh Vietnamese sandwich then this is the place.
