"(Dr. Kenneth) Stevens, in a last ditch effort to convince Hall against death, asked her: “Wouldn’t you like to see him graduate? Wouldn’t you like to see him get married?”

“That’s what kept me back. That one sentence,” Hall said. “If you hadn’t said that, I wouldn’t be here.”
After telling doctors she wanted to die under Oregon's assisted suicide law, Jeanette Hall beat her cancer and came to change her mind about life.

Less than half of US aid goes to the world's poorest countries. It's time to change this. Send a postcard and tell President Obama to make sure at least 50% of our aid goes to the least developed countries.

Introduction
Pastor, Saint Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Milford, New Jersey. LCMS. Devout NY Yankees fan. Believes hockey will one day rule the sports landscape, but has come to accept that it won't happen in his lifetime. Thinks that America's greatest newspaper is the New York Post.

I didn't know what to expect when I walked in, but the restaurant was terrific. The food was outstanding. The service was quick - we were sitting for less than a minute before a server came and took drink orders. Overall, a very pleasant experience - will definitely be on the "must go back" list.

Anyone thinking that it is more than a diner will be disappointed. As a diner, it is terrific. I've never had a problem with the service; the staff always seemed attentive; and the food as been good. If you're looking for a four-star restaurant, you're out of luck. But if you are looking for a good diner with decent prices, then this place will pass muster.
