So, building a computer for a friend, but having some problems.
1) microcenter is half an hour away in Houston. (I've only been here for two weeks, and I hate it more than any other city I've ever
been to, let alone lived in.)
2) mini-ITX builds are really obnoxious. (Great once they are done, terrible to build.)
3) Gigabyte, as a company, will not get any business from me in the future, as punishment for gross incompetence. (who the hell releases a motherboard that does not support the current generation of processors without a bios update. An update that can only be applied by the previous generation of processors. I could tear down my computer to update the motherboard, but I'm not going to risk killing my CPU because gigabyte are [expletive] morons. Just going to return the processor I bought, get a previous generation chip for the build, and if the owner wants to upgrade later, then fine.)
