Science fiction turning into reality: United States Air Force is going to mount laser weapons in combat aircrafts.
The Air Force plans to begin firing laser weapons from larger platforms such as C-17s and C-130s until the technological miniaturization efforts can configure the weapon to fire from fighter jets such as an F-15, F-16 or F-35.

A very unpleasant experience. The room we slept was dirty, crumbs and stains from old meals were visible all over the room table. Second (child's) bed had no sheets, only a light cloak. Breakfast was very, very poor: there was no cheese, ham or butter available; only prepacked jams and Nutella. Mugs and cups, forks and knifes were hand-washed so they could be re-used by later guests. As a positive point, I must say the hotel is very close to motorway A89 and has a decent parking lot.

I spent two nights in the hotel with my family, during a touristic trip to Bratislava. The hotel is near the city center – a ten minutes walk – but in a city district that is not trendy anymore: no shops, few people in the streets, even one occasional slum. Nevertheless, the hotel is very modern and comfortable. The underground parking lot is spacious and secure. Staff is very friendly and proficient in English. Our room was larger than similar rooms in other hotels, very well cleaned and properly air-conditioned. Breakfast was very good, with a large variety of items.

Hotel bem localizado. Quartos muito confortáveis, com decoração moderna e impecavelmente limpos. Pessoal simpático, prestável e profissional. Como único reparo, aponto apenas ouvir-se por vezes o ruído do comboio metropolitano a passar.

I slept here overnight with my family, in a touristic trip in southern Bavaria. The Gasthof is located in a small village, where agriculture is the predominant activity. It's not easy to find it and a GPS navigation system might be very helpful; on the other hand, you may take peace and silence for granted. The Gasthof hasn't private parking, but it's easy to find a place to park in the outside. The family running the hotel is friendly, but we only found one person able to speak English, so knowledge of German is beneficial. Gasthof has no reception, therefore you must ring a bell and wait in a corridor, has it was centuries ago. Rooms were spacious, warm and clean. Restaurant serves local cuisine, tasty and very well prepared. Breakfast was also very pleasant.

I slept three nights in this hotel with my family, in a touristic trip to Vienna. The hotel is well located, not far away from the city center; there is also a tram stop nearby. Staff is friendly and customer oriented; most persons speak Spanish and English fluently. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable, but the heating was set too hot and we were unable to regulate it because the handle was malfunctioning. Restaurant was closed.
