Emotionally Engaged Employees -Sharing my POV on why discussions must evolve beyond the narrow focus of how employees need to change. And instead, expand discussion to include greater focus on an organization's commitment (or lack thereof), to facilitate engagement opportunities http://www.huffingtonpost.com/anneliza-humlen/the-real-barriers-to-nurt_b_6263898.html  . Why employee engagement is a necessity - not a "nice-to-have" program or initiative http://ow.ly/u20zz
Why is employee engagement often regarded as a “nice-to-have” vs necessity when in reality it is not unlike building external community and engagement.

Sharing latest post "What role, if any, does CSR have at Retail?" just published in today's Huffington Post. http://lnkd.in/dz3C3aa - making the case for why corporations should learn how to communicate and connect via retail - not just use retail for philanthropy and sale of goods.  Your feedback is most appreciated.
When you think about the different ways that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) transpires throughout daily life, examples seen at retail will often come to mind....

If the ultimate goal of CSR is about creating positive business and social change, then why is it that corp. focus remains on just creating more information instead of creating greater impact and action?  See new post fr. Huffington Post and weigh-in with your thoughts.
Despite the growing investments made today towards external CSR communication, there has been relatively little progress made in evolving the mindset and behaviors beyond the niche to the masses....
