Hi Paula, it's great to see a variety of people on this COOL FISh, including lecturers, staff developers and learning technologists.  I'm looking forward to hearing insight from everyone.  Do you teach by distance?  Anna

The perfect soundtrack can really tie together a video, so YouTube is making it much easier to pick an audio backdrop to accompany your footage.

If your like me and you share a lot of Google Documents then this Chrome extension maybe of some use.  Normally when I share a document I like to shorten the URL to make it easier for people to type or remember.  I prefer "Google Shortner" to do this.

The Chrome extension Shorten Me does this automatically for me.  After I install it, any web page I go to in the Chrome Browser is automatically shortened and a QR code created by simply clicking on the the extension in the upper right hand corner.

I forgot to say, I have just finished running a five week online staff development course in our VLE.  Solo moderating is a big challenge so it'll be good to see how you do this with a team, and without the confines of an institutional VLE!!
