NEW YORK (AP) â€" Ellen DeGeneres is making a furniture design competition series for the HGTV network. HGTV said Tuesday that "Ellen's Design Challenge" is expected to air sometime next year. It will feature six competitors who sketch, design and build furniture within 24 hours, and will play out over six episodes. Chris, this is a very nice tribute to Anne who is clearly on a wonderful path.

#spotlightthursday   #friends   #gratitude
+Anne Kubitsky is today's Spotlight Thursday.  Anne shares some similar traits with me as we both do our best to look for gratitude everywhere.

Anne took this a step further with her Look for the Good project:
http://www.lookforthegoodproject.org/

She has several books on her website:
http://www.lookforthegoodproject.org/#!books/cn9b

and she was fortunate to be on MSNBC a couple days ago to promote her project.  Watch the segment here:

Seeing my friends succeed is one of the things that makes me grateful. It just proves again that if you follow your bliss, if you follow your muse, you will find your joy.  You will find your abundance.

Anne is simply the latest example of that caveat.

Thanks, Ann.  I do my best to share my friend's successes.  I get more satisfaction seeing my friends succeed than I do seeing my own success.

This is the only place we stay in Newport. Have been coming to this beautiful cozy place forever. Our oldest daughter got engaged here by their beautiful Christmas tree in one of two living rooms. The breakfasts that come with your room are to die for. My recent sibling trip was here too. The parking is great and that's saying alot because parking is at a premium in Newport. the "Malbone" is in walking distance to every where...it's like your own private mansion for a weekend. Oh, did I mention the amazing afternoon tea they put on? It's right out of "Downton Abbey."
