With experience in broadcast, print and online media, my past positions have included: news director at Complex Media, weekend editor at Mashable, on-air reporter at CTV Ottawa, research assistant for The New Yorker's Beijing bureau, reporter/copy editor at The Globe and Mail and reporter/photographer at The Toronto Star. I'm currently senior editor, Justice, at Fusion.

I hold a Master of Journalism from Carleton University and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in international relations, Asia-Pacific studies and English from Trinity College at the University of Toronto.

With interest in issues of local and global governance, I've also served on the board of directors for the Chinese Canadian National Council (Toronto Chapter), as well as a member of TEDxToronto's organizing committee and the G8 Research Group.
