Supporters of transgender ideology believe that they are freeing people from restrictive understandings of gender. In reality, the more our society tries to free itself from gender stereotypes, the more it becomes enslaved to them. By saying that people can be born in a body of the wrong gender, tra

It’s been almost a week since we found out the winners of the historic 1.5 million dollar Powerball jackpot. That means we’ve had time to let it sink in that we didn’t wake up rich. We’ve accepted that returning to work is inevitable. It also means we’ve been busy plotting ways to make ourselves richer …

Are you trying to get a handle on what fibromyalgia is? It's a complex and confusing illness, so start with this simple explanation.

In a New York Post article that’s gone viral this week, Meghann Foye, argues for “Meternity” leave – something she imagines has “all the perks of maternity leave – without having kids.” It’s a silly little article posted for the purpose of marketing her novel “Meternity… about a woman who fakes a pregnancy and discovers some …

I just never thought it would happen to me. I always heard about it. But never in my life did I think I would be involved with it. I have anxiety. I have a low self-esteem. I’m a helper. I …

When I first told people my plan is to be debt free by age 30, I always get a few different reactions. People are either really impressed with my drive or they give a sarcastic smile and blatantly tell me I’m crazy because debt is just a part of life we need to accept. Though …

Whether we like it or not, what we do on Facebook tells the world (through social media) whether we support or agree with the prophet or basic LDS doctrine.

Fibromyalgia is real and doctors will no longer be able to say it isn't. Fibromyalgia is finally being recognized as an official diagnosis.

I'm a stay-at-home wife and mom to three awesome sons. They are 3 years, 6y and 21y old. I have fibromyalgia, have been through postpartum depression and have a bunch of other health issues. I am a Christian, I believe in Jesus Christ, God our Heavenly Father and in profits. I am a Mormon or Lds, but the proper name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Introduction
Hello :)  I'm married just over 6 years now. I live in the same town I primarily grew up in. I have a 20 year old son, he went to the very same high school I did (that was a very odd feeling). My other two children are boys also, my youngest just turned 2 years old and my middle son just turned 5 years old. I used to work retail as a certified pharmacy technician prior to getting married and starting the second stage of my life. Now I am a stay at home mom with lots of things I want to do and never enough time to finish them or sometimes even start them. I put my family and faith first before anything else, I have found that in doing this my family and I are rewarded with many blessings we would not otherwise have had. I am also a family history but! I love working on it so much and love helping others <3

■I'm going to start with this...this location has been open about a month now, a new location (the first in Oregon), with new owners, and new employees. All new businesses have to work out the kinks to get things running smoothly. Employees also have a learning period to go through. We've been here a few times since it opened and I can say for certain that it gets busy during lunchtime. ■Now for the good stuff...there are so many options here that it's a place that (almost) everyone can find something delicious to eat. From sandwiches, lettuce wrapped, to salads. And chips, brownies, or rice crispy treats. A large variety of sodas and hand scooped ice cream for milkshakes with so many flavor options. The shakes and sandwiches are made to order, the sandwich can be cold or "hot" which is is where it's put openface through a sandwich oven. They also have some nice patio seating available. For those who may be in a bit of a rush, I suggest ordering ahead either online or on the app. ■Prices and sizes...wow, you get three sandwich sizes to choose and with all the options available, a person can end up with a very full sandwich. I find them to be reasonably priced when you take all the choices into consideration. This place is definitely worth a try, and if by chance you had a not happy first experience, give them another try. ☆☆☆☆☆

I rose incredibly miserable from a sleepless night, 8 days with a "cold", an awful cough that had become painful. I discovered this Express Care on a Google search, perfect for me based on insureance, location and open (early) on a Sunday. I scheduled an appointment easily online, for 740am. The location is super easy to find and conviently located off of I-5/217. The staff is friendly. I was quickly & efficiently checked in and taken to a room to have the usual questions and stats taken. Next I saw J. Hoke PA-C, she was thorough and explained everything clearly. The whole process including a nebulizer treatment took 40min, amazing for (urgent) care. If I need weekend care in the future I will return.

Our go to Chinese food. Just like you used to find before all these chains started popping up. Good food, chow mein, lo-mein, sweet & sour chicken, egg foo young, sezhuan beef (we order not spicy, no bell pepper to accommodate the kids and food allergy, but I bet it's good standard too), fried rice. All the yummy goodness that I expect out of going out for "Chinese food". This style is getting harder and harder to find as foodies demand more sophisticated dishes. I hope they remain delicious and never leaves.

We keep thinking it will be good, but sadly it's not. Each time the chicken was tough like it's old. Also for us we found that medium is just to spicy. Bathrooms were mostly clean.

We discovered Smith Berry Barn in 2009. We really like this family farm. It's a nice place to take the kids and go pick berries. The owner is very nice and has remembered us each time we've been there. There are some fenced in goats answer chickens too. Good place to make some memories.

Big fun park. Large playground plus a smaller one with foam padding on the other side of the park (adjacent to the Butterfly Garden). Loaded with amenities, baseball fields, soccer fields, volleyball, bbq's, trash cans throughout, fields, boat ramp, a paved walking/biking trail that connects Cook Park to Tualatin Park and Cook Park to Durham City Park. Wooded areas and wetlands for nature walks. The park runs along the Tualatin river. There are various covered shelters that you can reserve for events, most with electrical, running water and bbq grill.
