I'm going to miss seeing the author photos in my search results. I'd have thought there would be a drop in the click throughs without the images but apparently Google's experiments get a similar click through rate whether it's with or without author pics.
The Google Authorship pictures that we've grown accustomed to seeing in search results are about to go away. Google's John Mueller detailed this change in
