Three thousand days!! That many days don't pass without learning a thing or two about each other and this whole marriage thing, and that got me thinking. What have we learned on this journey so far? Here are three, big, sparkly pieces of wisdom we've gained in our first three thousand days of {mostly} wedded bliss. #marriage #parenting #christianliving

"Please, help spread the understanding that the R word is not what Ms Coulter insists. It does not mean “loser” or “idiot or “moron” as she stated. It represents years and years of hurt to those who could not stand up for themselves. "

A year ago, I wrote a post about why I feel so strongly about ending the use of the R word. Retarded. Today, March 4, 2015, is again a day for spreading the word that the R word is outdated and hurtful to so many people.

Beautiful

Hey Soul? so yeah, there are things this week that look like the Gigantic Impossibles --- and change seems slow & small & practically invisible.
But Change is a Seed. And Gigantic Beanstalks grow from seeds that are small & don't look like they're doing anything at all.
Growth is a slow & sacred process, not some abracadabra magic show.
Every minute of faithfulness is a seed that God will faithfully grow into profound change.
"Grow in grace...." (2Pet3:18) By His grace -- let Him grow just one faithful minute & then one more seed-minute of faithfulness & then just one more....
And God grows each of those seed-minutes into the Gigantic Possible, by His grace.
Grace always startles.
Grace always stuns.
Grace is always what we all need.
