If you like having the right to take and post photos in European cities, you should probably click this link and sign a petition against legislation that could cripple your ability to shoot and publish images taken in many places if it passes.

https://www.change.org/p/european-parliament-save-the-freedom-of-photography
On 9 July 2015, the European Parliament might destroy photography. The Freedom of taking photos in public places is under attack. Until now, in most countries in Europe you were safe to take and publish photographs that are taken from public ground – This is called Freedom of Panorama. When you were on vacation, you could take a photo from the London Eye and share it with your friends on Facebook*. If someone wanted to pay you for using this p...

It is done! The complete photo essay of my #Paris trip last month. And NO SELFIES. #iloveparis    #pariscartepostale   #france     #cestmonparis   #francephotography   #parisphotography   #parismonamour
Our first hotel was close to the airport and gave us a chance to recover from the incredible jetlag. Modern and quiet, plus IKEA-style decor. The rooms are controlled with a tablet in each room, where you can change the colors of the shower light, shut the curtains, etc. The breakfasts were delightful, and the bar served nice wine and nightcaps as well. Also, like most places we stayed, they spoke English too so when your French became just too m...

Have an extra bike chain laying around? Turn it into a funky time-telling fashion statement.

So people are like, what's your problem? Why do you hate rich people? They make 'merica great, hello!

Because this. They always think they are special, special snowflakes at the expense of everybody else.

After years of devastating drought, ultra-wealthy Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., faces water rationing, but residents feel aggrieved. If you can pay the price for more water, they argue, you should get it.

So many people use the term "Socialism", as if it were a horrible enemy of the people.  But they forget the countries such as the UK and Canada have a fair degree of socialist structure to them.

What currently exists in the US is closer to a Plutocracy any more...

Love everything about this; such delicious photos.

"Wandering the desert without a plan for 10 days was truly an incredible experience that we’ll never forget."
We had this idea to go to the desert. We didn’t know what that would mean or where it would see us going, but we just knew we had to go. After booking a one way ticket to Vegas, two weeks later we still didn’t know what we were doing, where we were staying, or how we would get around the desert. Enter Jessiah, our friend that we met in Portland and who we took with us down the Oregon Coast. Always down for adventure, he loaded up Lucy the Tacoma ...

I've stayed in some gross motels, but this one just shot up to the top of that list. Wow. For the rates they charge in the summer ($200 and up) you would THINK they could do something about all the things that are missing, dirty, falling apart or of interest to bugs. I don't know if the other rooms were anything like ours but to even have one room in the shape that we experienced is completely unacceptable. I have NO idea how this place passes inspections of any kind. Also parking ranges from difficult to insane here. On the plus side the owner was nice when I asked for the wifi code, and it's very close to the boardwalk. But that's literally the only positives I could think of.
