Those beautiful animals, sadly poached for their horns like many other animals on earth for whatever body parts "should" heal what ever sickness the fairytale believers believe in. How sad!
As long there is demand of the fairytale believers on body parts of whatever animal as long those gangsters and syndicates get rich. Not to forget whatever politicians on the side get some blood money in their dirty pants! SHAME

CAPTURE NAMIBIA
The Official Blog of the Namibia Tourism Board interviewed me about my trips in untamed Namibia. Here you will find out more. Don't forget, give this blog post your like and check out the other photographers. Very useful tips can be found for maybe your trip to this awesome country.

There you see with what I spend right now most of my time. Since English is my second language the writing does not get that fast. I have to reread at least 10x and still find hick ups, oh well. Any free editors out there, lololol
Enjoy

SOLAR ECLIPSE IN SWITZERLAND

Now this is what I got from the eclipse from above Zurich at around 700m above sea level. Nop, did not go on the Matterhorn for that :)))

I stacked my Big Stoppers in front of the lens and started taking pix. Never looked through view finder this kills your eye. All working in live  view and mirror lock up.
Settings varried between f16 - f/64 and all sorts of shutter speeds :)) oh ISO50 to the lowest I was able to set. And the background is total black.

IF THERE COMES AN ICE BEAR
Sometimes I receive a request for an image of mine with a little un-usual use for the end product. This request came out of the blue from ‪#Germany
However for the text on this cup is a little story behind: A German class learning English. Yep, that they can communicate out in the about in the world. However the person ordering this, well the class actually, told me the story behind the famous scene: They talked about all and about the world, till this student said in class: *If there comes an "Ice Bear".* This sentence was the runner up in this class till today!
WHY? Because in German we call a Polar Bear - Ice Bear, if you translate exactly the German words into English. Or a Racoon we say in German: Wash Bear :P again translated exactly the words! The "Okey-doke!" is a "phrase" the teacher loves to say "often!! :) This HAD to be on the cup as well.
Well, I could not resist and gave the students the file for free and in return I got the images of this great cup. Happy learning English and for all out there, as hard as it is: HAPPY LEARNING GERMAN :))
Hope you enjoy.
