My comment on this post
When I hear the word computer, my mind conjures up an image of a device (PC, laptop, tablet, phone, toaster) This will always be the case (or for quite some time to come anyway). What you are talking about is data. Data does not equal computer. The Cloud is/will be your hard drive and your OS. You still need a device (with a browser) to access it. It's about time people realised that the cloud is an evolution, not a revolution (tape, floppy, disc, card, cloud) and even then there is one big (huge) stumbling block; bandwidth.
Having your ALL your data synced up and available on ALL your devices (computers) IS the key but if there's no connection where are you then?
Don't get me wrong, the cloud is where it's at, but it's frontierville and there are a lot of bandits in the hills.
