Not the result I'd hoped for, but I'm proud of the way I fought for every point, right to the very end of the match. Congrats to Sam Querrey on his first Grand Slam semi final. Thanks for all the support over the last few weeks...

The way you kept fighting, didn't withdraw or take a medical time out. I
feel honoured I have lived through this time in tennis to witness a British
tennis player the likes of, I doubt we will ever see again. You give such
enjoyment to millions who love the game of tennis and responsible for
bringing British tennis alive and for so many young kids now picking up a
tennis racket, not to mention the way you help up and coming British tennis
players. A true gentleman. I wish you a speedy recovery Andy, but please
take the time to heal your body.
