There's been this thing, the #DoeJayChallenge, I noticed first over on the twitters, courtesy of +Paul Czege. A flash of inspiration and a few minutes later, I had written a microgame using one (well, technically two) of the challenge game covers. Fascinating stuff. But I couldn't find the creator of the images, maybe +Paul Czege can help?

Check out the game at https://berdandy.itch.io/sunslayer-moonslayer (pay-what-you-want).

Warning: it's not been playtested except in my own head. But feel free to give feedback. <3

Protip: hide your green coffee beans when your mother-in-law comes to visit.

Related: need a new burr grinder. Are there any particularly good ones I should look for?

Hi all! I just got Hollowpoint; I'm thinking of a setting, but I could use some expert feedback.

The Era/World: alternate present, corporations and consumer loyalty have supplanted country boundaries. Think less "I'm American" and more "I'm a Sony." All corporations have their own Agencies that support their interests. There is also an 'independent' global Agency (AEGIS) that is funded from all corporation coffers to keep things in check. This regulatory agency was established late, however.

The Agency: Coca-Cola/Pepsi have merged into a conglomerate named CPBev, and have crushed all opposition using various means (before AEGIS existed). The CPBev Agency is colloquially known as "The Soda Jerks" -- but never to their faces.

The Enemy: competing individuals, corporations and megacorps. All soda are belong to us.

...

Players' First Mission:
1. Determine reason for the popularity of a new product on the market, Inca Kola, which has achieved a 72% market share in Peru.*
2. Acquire or destroy Inca Kola

* Actually happened IRL. Coca-Cola bought them out. It's radioactive yellow and tastes like bubblegum. I might pick up some for the first game.

So, any thoughts? Ideas for follow-up missions? All feedback welcome.

Thanks!
