Wednesday 29th June at Calumet Birmingham.

Come and learn how to get the very best performance out of your Nikon or Canon autofocus.
In this workshop we will learn and understand how our Nikon and Canon auto focus systems work, including the new Nikon D5/D500 system and the revised Canon 1DXMk2 auto focus system. Photographing subjects moving quickly and directly towards the camera is the “Holy Grail” of any type of action ...

After the shot at Porth Saint the Milky Way gave us a show in a dark sky.

The Canon 1DX Mark 2 - a Game Changer? The sensor IQ is so much better than its predecessor that I think it possibly could be...

Introduction
Website is HERE

Born in 1959 and growing up in the Cheshire countryside I've always enjoyed being out in the landscape and finding out about the things we share this planet with.

Coming from a mixed artistic and technical background I fell into photography quite by accident when I was 'doing' a graphics and fine art Foundation course.

At long last I had found something that was a marriage between art and science - I loved it then and I still do now - photography is fascinating.

If I could only photograph one type of subject it would be landscapes - they are always there, they don't require baiting, they don't move and they always look different!

I also specialise in teaching Lightroom and Photoshop techniques and I produce instructional DVDs and videos.
