Google Music is gaining momentum, and it's a great way to access your music collection. But one thing it's missing over the likes of iTunes is a desktop

Lame. I read it. "No plans for Macs" Oh well.
It's nice, but the app is really just a shell. Personally, I might as well just use Chrome - no install required. There are also extensions for Google Music that are very interesting: lyrics integration, scrobbling, notification windows, playback buttons.
This is a great app. It adds a much needed mini-player interface, and the controls in the pop-up preview window from the task bar is awesome. Only other thing I'd like to see is global hotkey support.
