We're not quite sure how Android Auto launched without an app for audiobooks, but such is the case. That's changed now that Audiobooks.com has added support. But the experience ... is not great.
We're not quite sure how Android Auto launched without an app for audiobooks, but such is the case. That's changed now that Audiobooks.com has added support. But the experience ... is not great. Audiobooks are hugely popular. Always have been, way back to the days when we kept a half-dozen cassettes in the car to get through a whole book. (Ask your parents, kids.) So they make...

In hindsight, it's not all that surprising that the new Moto G is as good at it is. Motorola's gotten really good at the mid-range phone. Better than anyone else, I'd argue. And it's not surprising because Motorola told us a long time ago what its game plan would be. Actually, it was Larry Page who…

+Oswaldo Díaz If you are looking for new, take a look at the Asus Zenphone 2.  It's a decent upgrade over the Nexus 4 (I'm still rocking a nexus 4 myself, but looking at the new moto x, Nexus 6, or the new nexus coming this fall).  This phone isn't that bad for the price point if you're ok with no NFC.  I use it daily with my Nexus 4 so I'm not willing to give it up.

Most of us paid close attention to both, and while there were some surprises, in the end we are left with what each manufacturer thinks is a natural successor to last year's...

+Angus Grayling no you don't. Turning off mobile network and switching to WiFi only will suffice. That means the device is no longer depending on the carriers towers ( sim card ) and solely working off a private network through WiFi. Reset is a very last resort and not needed.

Reset, stop Google, remove sim card, etc??? Pure nonsense!

Yes I read the article and I haven't wavered.

In any case that's pretty much it. ✋

There's no shortage of opinion to be found right now on OnePlus as a company, or the viability of its recently announced and entirely overhyped smartphone, but I'm going to steal a moment of your time to talk about something the company did really well. In fact, it's the one thing I wish and pray…

In fact, it's the one thing I wish and pray and hope for every time a new smartphone is announced. A few hours before everyone...

They will have to lower the price to below $400 if they want to compete with the OnePlus 2, the Moto X 2015 or the upcoming Nexus device. They also need to let more folks know about their two year phone replacement guarantee.

In addition to some updated specs, the 2015 Moto G has a bit of a new look to it. If you were a bit bored by last year's matte black finish (and ignored the fact that there were other shells you could purchase), well, things are looking up this time around. Both p hones keep the same shape, of…
