Honor is preparing to launch a new phone, the smaller sibling of last month's Honor V8. The device has a very clean looking back side. #News #Honor #Honor8
In the eyes of many however, Huawei managed to truly up its game when Google selected it to produce last year's Nexus 6P. This handset, combined with a number of other top tier, premium products, has made many a fan of the OEM, even if its now higher prices are ironically - and apparently - hurting sales, with the company allegedly reducing estimates by 40 million units.Huawei also has a sub-brand, called Honor, and it too makes some snazzy smart...

When the term 'stage fright' ceased to be just a form of performance anxiety and instead became a household word for techies, however, Google took action to try and make sure its Android OS ...

Is it a smartphone or a phablet? Is 6.44 inches too big for a daily driver? We answer these and more in this, our Xiaom Mi Max review! #Reviews #MIUI #SmartphoneReviews
Recently, several smartphone manufacturers have introduced extra-large smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy A9, LeEco Le Max 2, and Huawei P8 Max. While flagship smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and HTC 10 have trended around 5.2' for display size, Xiaomi has ignored this trend entirely for their first humongous smartphone: the Xiaomi Mi Max.With a 6.44' display, the Mi Max is much larger than what many would consider normal, and it de...

With all that space and size, I'd rather they made the screen 6 inches or so and use the rest of the dimension for front-facing stereo speakers.

We're seeing the LG Nexus 5X going for $240 on Ebay, which undercuts the previous all-time-low price by sixty bucks. Pretty stellar deal! #Deals #News #eBay
In the market for an upper-mid range smartphone that offers some great specs at a reasonable price? Well, have we got a deal for you. The Nexus 5X was already a well-priced offering when it released in the fall of last year, but now we’re seeing it go on Ebay for the incredible price of $240.This is the lowest we’ve ever seen the LG Nexus 5X go, with the previous record being a cool $300 from Amazon. A drop of 60 bucks is certainly nothing to sne...

Cozmo is a robot designed to have a distinct personality that adapts and changes to its environment thanks to a powerful AI engine. #News #AI #ArtificialIntelligence
Anki has just unveiled a little robot companion that reminds us quite a bit of Disney’s WALL-E. Meant to be a prototype on the robotic personality frontier, Cozmo comes equipped with an advanced ‘emotion engine’ that allows it to engage and respond to its environment in a variety of unpredictable ways. It is, in a sense, a character. The playful little bot delights in destruction, snores when it’s on its charger, recognizes different people’s face...

From today, thanks to a deal between Google and licensing middleman LyricFind, lyrics for millions of songs will show right at the top of Google’s search results. #News #Google #GooglePlayMusic
EngadgetEver wondered why Google doesn’t show song lyrics right in its search results, the way it does with movie details, sports scores, and a myriad other trivia? The reason is licensing: Google – and any other site that makes a profit off song lyrics – has to pay a fee to the song’s right owners, namely artists and publishers. From today, thanks to a deal between Google and licensing middleman LyricFind, lyrics for millions of songs will show ri...

Google Awareness APIs will give your apps more context about your behavior, but will this come at the cost of user privacy? #News #Google #GoogleNow

Now the search giant is finally making these context sensitive resources available to developers, meaning apps will soon have a much stronger understanding of your behavior. These APIs will let app developers call for a number of different kinds of contexts including your general location, the local weather, user activity (such as walking or running), and the location of a...

Curious about what Huawei has in store for the latter part of 2016? Well, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer. The company has all but confirmed that their next big reveal will take place right before IFA 2016, which occurs from September 2 to September 7. That means we can expect revelations from the company come the first of that month. The Chinese smartphone maker has kept mum about what they’ll be launching, but our chips are on a follow...
