A while ago the Go bindings for LLVM were adopted into the LLVM tree. At the time, godoc.org could not display the bindings docs because it did not support SVN; now it does.
package llvm. import "llvm.org/llvm/bindings/go/llvm". Index ¶. Constants; func DefaultTargetTriple() (triple string); func InitializeAllAsmParsers(); func InitializeAllAsmPrinters(); func InitializeAllTargetInfos(); func InitializeAllTargetMCs(); func InitializeAllTargets() ...

Amazing.

This is awesome: they've turned cameras into microphones and are recovering sound from the minute vibrations seen in objects.

Short video... worth watching.

Very cool. I imagine the NSA and friends have been doing this for years.

This post is about some of the work I've done on Juju recently to support high availability of users' deployed services by way of availability zone spread.

Big news for Juju. Steven Vaughan-Nichols captures some of the big takeaways from Mark Shuttleworth's keynote at ODS: we're going to be supporting CentOS and Windows; integrating with OpenStack Heat and OASIS TOSCA.

The keynote is well worth watching if you're interested in seeing what Canonical's doing in the OpenStack and DevOps space.

Juju cloud DevOps is moving into CentOS, Windows, and a lot more places as well.  When it first showed up in Ubuntu I thought it was great, but I didn't see this happening.
Summary: Canonical's Juju had been a great high-end cloud DevOps tool for Ubuntu on OpenStack. Now, Canonical is porting it to CentOS and Windows. And with IBM's help, that's only the start.

Wow. I was ready to blow off Juju and the like as Flynn and others  take off in the orchestration space, but being able to manage Windows environments would be a big deal...

llgo is self hosting

Thanks to Peter Collingbourne, llgo is now able to build itself and its dependencies, including libgo.
