I wanted to share a website I have been working on for a while. It is for anyone who would like to see a park/playground before they make the trip with their kids. I have information as well as a 360 degree, interactive view from inside each park. Let me know what you think of the site and the content. I hope this can help you find the right park for you and your kids.
This site is for anyone who would like to see a park/playground before they make the trip with their kids. Clicking on the pictures will give you a 360 degree, interactive view from inside each park. I plan to add more parks as I visit them. If you have a park suggestion, or general suggestion ...

Pick up your controller: lets play zombies!
this weeks Reddit's r/picturechallenge was either "Controlling" or "Self-Portrait". I figured why not try both.
Thanks to Bruce Skovera for the help.

/r/PhotoChallenge
"Take something man-made/unnatural and photograph it in nature, somewhere where it doesn't fit and looks out of place."

Here is what I came up with:

This is really nice. Was it hard to keep the correct exposure?

I wouldn't say it was hard as it was mostly just tedious. I manned the camera the whole night, manually adjusting and ramping it from full moon exposure to the red moon and back. I still think I could have made it more smooth of a transition

I decided to try some black and white conversions on this photo set. It was Halloween and the fog over the river created an eerie feeling I thought was best shown in black and white. What do you think? Spooky enough for you? Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to Facebook ...

I didn't really know what it was about or what to expect, but I thought it was a good movie. I'd recommend it.

Agreed.  I saw a bit of myself in there when I was younger.  Always daydreaming...

The breaker blew in my home office and my computer emailed me to tell me it lost power! Kind of cool to see it in action.

I thought it would be fun to try a "tiny world" photograph. This was way easier to make than I thought it would be, Photoshop did most of the work. This is a picture of the Colony Oaks Park playground.

I can't find the YouTube tutorial I used, but a search for "how to tiny world panorama" should give you a good start. Basically you make a panorama and use Photoshop's filter>distort>polar coordinates to get the effect.
