Geocachers Want To Know:
Our Geocaching Poll of the Week for the GeoSnippits Reboot Podcast: Geocaching Insights.www.geosnippits.com

Geocoins seem to disappear way to quickly when placed in the wild and the concept of proxies began. First they appeared in fairly shabby forms and now are almost exact replicas. This does pose the following question.

Do you handle proxy geocoins the same as the actual geocoins themselves?

Would love to hear your thoughts.

I make a proxy of all travel bugs, coins, ect, I purchase and release them, not the originals. Proxies seem to last and get miles and caches. Originals disappear within a year. I also use HeadHardHats advice and drill holes in the tag along toy, ect.

If you hit the wait staff on a good day it goes well. However, there tends to be a lot of mistakes. Food is always good.
