Well played.

Ouch.
Just a heads-up: This is satire. This. Is. Satire. But that's why it's so freaking good.

+Andrew Ha Super cool stuff.

Nice tour of the new Snapseed 2.0 with +Nils Kokemohr. I'm crazy excited about this app since for the first time many of the very powerful tools from the Nik pro suite (Tonal Contrast, Glamor Glow, non destructive stackable filters, etc) are now available on mobile! Oh! It's also still free. :)

Welcome to the city. This is the Wi-Fi saturation from my bedroom (and might explain why there is no signal...)

One Xoogler recommends Ubiquity semi-pro routers for coping with signal crowding. -- Rather, "Ubiquiti".

Also, like all Linux boot sequences in the last 10 years, it mostly seems to be comprised of scary looking error messages that are presumably completely nominal, which makes it clear that nobody ever looks at this stuff.

I saw a man sit.

Shirt off, tattoos, no shoes.

The cold San Fransisco morning cut through my jacket as I stood for the bus.

A passing human drops money in the man's cup.

The man stands, as if a hand pulled the strings of a marionette. His shuffling gait stops just short of the corner store.

Standing at the door he lurches to a stop, swaying.

I saw a man fight.

Wrenching himself away, the man holds both hands in fists, shaking them up and down.

"1. 2. 3. rock"

He makes fists. He's tied himself. Throwing rock with both fists.

"If I win I walk away."

He shakes his fists.

"1. 2. 3. rock"

"If I lose I buy a 4 loco"

It's cold. He takes a step away.

"1. 2. 3. rock"

Stopping in front of me, he looks in my eyes and shakes his fists.

"1. 2. 3"

"paper beats rock"

I saw a man lose.

This thing is awesome... It's basically intuitive photoshop on your phone.

Perfect your photos in a snap with the new Snapseed

With billions of images being uploaded and shared on a daily basis, we want to make it fast and easy for people to perfect their photos. What once required a desktop computer, costly software and hours of editing work, can now be accomplished quickly in a powerful app --  +Snapseed

The new #Snapseed app gives you the precision and control of professional photo editing software on your phone or tablet. We’ve updated the app in many ways while staying true to our mission of helping everyone easily create extraordinary images. Here are the highlights:

New tools including Lens Blur, Tonal Contrast, intelligent perspective Transform, and Spot Healing

Selectively apply filters and effects to parts of the image using the Brush tool

Non-destructive editing via Stacks allows you to re-edit or undo any change. You can also copy edits from one image to another

Snapseed works with your phone camera shots as well as images from DSLRs, compact cameras, and more.

Get it today as it rolls out on the Play Store http://goo.gl/sQSfLM and the App Store http://goo.gl/irPbd4

ReThinking

You've probably seen the first panel and facepalmed, but here are some thoughtful additions based on the first one.  If picture is too small, there is another version of it at the link.

The new layout of the AT&T store seems to borrow heavily from an Apple Store feel. You are greeted at the door by a person who takes your name and you are shown to a lounge in the back which has two huge televisions there to distract you from the wait (it was playing the World Cup when we were there). After a reasonable wait (20ish minutes), one of several attendants finds you and takes you to a private table where they work through your issue. Our attendant, Anthony was great. Extremely positive, it didn't feel like our problem was ever an inconvenience, and most importantly he always had a path forward, another thing we could try. When I had ideas of how to solve the problem he listened to them, and we even tried a few. And in short order my phone was working and we were back to the races. All in all, I went in dreading an upsell, and having to deal with attitude, and had a pleasant experience with timely service. You may not like AT&T's policies, but the people working the floor aren't to blame. A+ service.

Delicious fries and good burgers, but the winning combination is fries and their Belgian mussels, a large bowl of mussels in delicious broth you can sop up with the fries.
