Saw this project on campus today. It's a mostly 3D printed Nerf gun. :D

He's been working on it for two semesters and the materials used now total more than $3500. More than worth it, I'd say.

How well does it work? What's he using to push the darts?
 
I didn't see it function, but he used PVC pipes to create an air chamber. The principle is very similar to an actual Nerf gun.
 
So it's still powered by a compressed spring and not, say, a CO2 canister?
 
Oh, I'm and idiot. Yeah it's powered by compressed air. There's a little nozzle on the stock. So, really nothing like a Nerf gun.
