This is what HBO Go looks like on my desktop, now. Still works on my laptop and other devices. The distortion goes away when I unplug and re-attach my monitor, but returns when I try to play a video again. I think this is an HDCP problem, even though my Nvidia driver says my monitor is HDCP functional. Anyone have thoughts?

Yeah, it was the DVI cable that I was using. Hooked up an HDMI cable while I wait for my shiny new Display Port cable to arrive.

I'd say it happens after the ceremony, every day. If it doesn't, the marriage won't last.

The purpose of the present study is to determine the effects of state-level assault weapons bans and concealed weapons laws on state-level murder rates. Using data for the period 1980 to 2009 and controlling for state and year fixed effects, the results of the present study suggest that states with restrictions on the carrying of concealed weapons had higher gun-related murder rates than other states. It was also found that assault weapons bans did not significantly affect murder rates at the state level. These results suggest that restrictive concealed weapons laws may cause an increase in gun-related murders at the state level. The results of this study are consistent with some prior research in this area, most notably Lott and Mustard (1997).

Here's some more ammo for you gun rights debates.

Things are looking up for Chicago! Otis McDonald may have passed, but his legacy lives on as people all across Illinois take up arms for self-defense.

This is the first reported defensive gun use since the political elite in the capitol were pressured into following literally every other state's example and instituting concealed carry. We have no way of knowing if this is the first actual DGU, but it'll have to do! Glad nobody got hurt and I hope the attackers learned their lesson.

Sounds like he needs some more range time... He didn't hit either of once...

Lightsabers can cut a door open slowly. The Death Star killed all the doors on Alderean. As well as the planet.

Rest in peace, Otis McDonald. You did good things, and the people of Chicago and Illinois are better off for your work.

"He was more than a conqueror of that city's ban on handguns. He was and will always remain a true hero who stood for the rights of men all his adult life, breaking through formidable barriers to make a better life for all those who followed after."

Introduction
I'm a Game Design graduate from the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona.

I've recently discovered a strong affinity for firearms, their practical use, and the community that surrounds them. I am a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights and am cultivating a philosophy of responsibly armed citizenship.

I'm always shifting politically. Right now I'm exploring libertarian ideals and the notion of minarchy. I believe in absolute individual rights and natural equality recognized by the state.

In all that, I'm a bit of a contradiction. I'm a gun-loving, geeky redneck calling for an end to foreign wars and a strong supporter of LGBT rights.

I am also a moderator for Google+'s largest gun enthusiast community: Guns Across Google
