I've been looking at RPGNow.com, and it looks like I could publish for free from there, less site costs. I don't expect to make much money, if any; however, I don't want to simply give it away, at least not at first. As much as I love free stuff, free games are far too easy to lose under the deluge of poor quality freebies already out there. If I can make a few dollars while making my game accessible to more people, so much the better!
Has anyone out there self-published an RPG (or anything similar)? If so, how did you do it? Any gotchas, specifically with the publishing process?
