+Mike Elgan TNT is really going down hill fast, I don't know why I am still watching.  Now with Sarah Lane separated from TNT and Jason being away for a couple of days.  The show is just awful, please give it up, it isn't good for you, it isn't good for TWiT.  Sorry to say so, really.  I had hoped you would get more comfortable more quickly, but it's clear it's probably never going to work for you.

My impression when hearing about Sarah was that she was pushed out. Don't know if that is true but it is what came to mind. It's almost like Mike wants to ensure there is no resemblance to the old show.

Okay, +Mike Elgan Steve Jobs could be a dictactor, but not Bill Gates /isn't/ allowed to be?  You are showing great bias time and time again; not cool.  I must say that on the whole I push against Microsoft, but I do that with other large companies as well for various reasons, but I am not facing the public in a situation as yours.  There is no need to continue to alienate people; interviews with Steve Jobs and Bill Gates showed them to be much more friendly themselves, personally.  Please show some more tact and respect, even if you don't like a person or persons or even the company the influence.  It's not all about Apple, you have a "Tech News Show", enough said, I hope.

I always felt Jobs had a lot to prove for not being technically savvy like Gates. But good to see Jobs got back his well deserved respect eventually.

+TWiT Coding 101 Shouldn't this be a community?  It looks like just another user.... is it part of the TWiT community instead?

Private health insurance is not affordable for most people; in AU they are allowed to put up premiums way above inflation year after year and there are significant penalties if you get cover later in life.

62% of bankruptcies caused by medical bills (also the primary reason for people losing their homes). 75% of these people had insurance. The system is broken.

A post that I was replying to was deleted .... no wonder I couldn't post to it????? What is going on.

Gee, reading some of the posts here, it seems that some are posting to support Mike, simply to counter those that don't.   I really think the show has dived big time and it isn't getting better.  That's my honest opinion.

There's got to be a lot of pressure on Mike and I think he isn't handling that pressure well at all.

+Robert Cassell I certainly agree with your high estimation of Molly Wood.  I had a dream, now dashed to pieces, that when Molly left CNET she would end up at TWiT on TNT.with Tom.(sounds a little like a solution from the game CLUE). Molly with out Tom is very good, but Tom and Molly together talking tech is magical. I think Molly likes it too ("It's a Thing"), but I don't think she wants to be thought of a a "team," and hopes she and Tom can be successful separately, like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were.  There is no better pairing in tech than acedtect and themolly.

The Big Fix - BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Cover up

This is part of the reason why we don't have the best energy alternatives being made available to us today.  Too much money will be lost to BP and the likes in the oil industry.

+Mike Elgan .... "North Korea, kim.com" .... really?  You are very disrespectful to the world in general, not just what I've highlighted.

I really don't like your derogation, anti-US-ian and otherwise racist expressions even if they may be tongue in cheek, it's just not necessary.

I don't use kim.com myself ... but he is hardly an enemy of the world, he may be an enemy of certain interests in the US, but the US is NOT the world however important you think you are in the US.

Okay, I do remember something, it was probably off the cuff.  I'm not going over old videos to find it though.

Butterscotch yoghurt!  Nice, but that tea is far too milky for me.  I started drinking /white/ tea, that is "early pick", not white with milk ... it's much nicer than the black or other teas, but harder to get at a reasonable price.

Amazing story, there are no grounds for her eviction from what I can see!

A Courageous Heart, I Hope She Wins >
"Speronis was living off the grid. Now she’s facing eviction because she agreed to share her enthusiasm for off-grid living with a local television station, and the city government saw the story"
“Cape Coral needs to be afraid of me. I’m not afraid of them,” she told the station in a follow up story."
