+Andrew Lake The puffin is our family's totem bird. If Trump had just left the money he inherited alone instead of trying to make more, he would have much more than he does. Wankpuffin!

Start betting on Betty II carking it, just released by the Arts Council. Note that Harry isn't on the list, I guess it's not about his parentage, but just that he's way down at 5th in line.

Free Bowie Game!

I remember this when it came out quite good. I wonder how dated it will be now.

If we can be heroes just for one day.

Everyone, just one act makes us heroes, just for one day.

This song has everything. the soaring guitar (is it an ebow?) the plea for one act, to be a hero A kiss can be a revolutionary act. This one hits me hard.

Let us beat them for ever and ever by being heroes. Just for one day.

The racist, the fear-monger, the petty insecurities that we all feel,  it counts for nothing if we can't make that human connection.

This song has the second worst lyric I know of - (the worst is des'ree's Life with
"I don't want to see a ghost
It's a sight that I fear most
I'd rather have a piece of toast")

"I, I wish you could swim
Like the dolphins, like dolphins can swim"

But that it is still a powerful song is testament to Bowie.

I wish I could see him in the afterlife if there was such a thing, he would at last meet Anthony Newley, the inspiration for his best work.

I try not to be over emotional about the death of someone I never knew, but Bowie..

The turtle moves!

Scientists Discover Biofluorescent Sea Turtle in South Pacific http://imgur.com/gallery/NqFGQYz
The critically endangered hawksbill sea turtle is the first reptile scientists have seen exhibiting biofluorescence—the ability to reflect the blue light hitting a surface and re-emit it as a different color. The most common colors are green, red, and orange. Biofluorescence is different from bioluminescence, in which animals either produce their own light through a series of chemical reactions, or host bacteria that give off light. Corals fluo...
