Sitting through the movie, Page One, an entertaining documentary on the intersection of the NY Times and citizen journalism, I couldn't help but think that law blogs published by our nation's lawyers could play a far greater role in our society than just legal marketing. Why couldn't a nation of lawyers blogging fill the void we have in investigative journalism regarding matters of justice, provide some courthouse reporting, and offer some insight/commentary on legal developments.

It's already being done by some lawyers, but why not more lawyers? What would it take? Is it a pipe dream?

I have been a member for many years. The experience is wonderful: good tai chi instruction, wonderful people, health improvement, focus on volunteerism and helping others. It is easy to get started - just visit when a beginner class is starting.
