Mossy Wonders

A small tributary cascades into the clear waters of Quentin Creek. The gnawing on this tree from a beaver caught my eye, while getting my camera for a shot. Willamette National Forest, Oregon.

Tamolitch Springs

I had heard that the waterfall at Tamolitch Pool on the McKenzie river was flowing strong. So I made the trek out to finally see it for myself. Seems I was a day late. Maybe next time haha. But the spring water through the rocks was flowing very strong, and I had never seen that before so that was great.

No Artificial Colors

A special place my Dad and I have been going too for most of my life. Finally made the time to capture this scene of natures colors, that we have been admiring for decades. Thanks for looking.

Oneonta on Ice

This is what Oneonta Gorge looks like after weeks of sub freezing temperatures. I was able to walk back the entire length of the gorge on top of the frozen creek, to be greeted with this ice bowl of a waterfall. It was awesome to witness this spectacular event. Columbia River Gorge, Oregon.

Sharing is appreciated :)

Clear Night

To me it is an amazing experience to stare up at the night sky, in a remote location at high elevation. I truly get the feeling I am standing on the edge of where the earth ends, and the sky begins. Broken Top Mountain, Central Oregon Cascades.
