Wow Microsoft really tried to bury their privacy policy change. Email to my spam folder on a long weekend?!

And post a few days ago to their "volume licensing" blog?
http://blogs.technet.com/b/volume-licensing/archive/2012/08/29/updating-our-microsoft-services-agreement.aspx

How many consumers read that?

Wasn't it just a few months ago that they were talking out full page newspaper ads against Google for making the same change? Shameless.

Middle-class matriarchy: women are adapting to the new economy, but men aren't. Great read. Remarkable implications if the anecdotes add up to a real trend.

“I hope that today marks the day from which every headmistress, every headmaster, every teacher throughout the United Kingdom understands that there is no obstacle whatsoever for any of their students, any pupil who has the academic ability and talent to merit a place at Oxford, to gain a place."

“We felt very strongly that it was too easy for people to forget about high school students for whom life could too easily be derailed. “This is a way to ignite thousands of lights that might otherwise be extinguished.”
Michael Moritz, a venture capitalist who was an early backer of Google Inc., and his wife will give 75 million pounds ($117 million) to Oxford University to fund scholarships.

Your child as a line item: it will cost a family in the urban northeast US earning $103,350 a year $1.7M to raise a kid.

Ironic isn't it the one's who can't defend themselves are the ones who are unborn. Yet we would rather save another species. Dog, Cat, Owl, Whale, etc. Michael J.Pierce is right. But I don't think you need to call it quits on your own humanity.
