Garden centres shouldn't sell gin, it makes for an expensive trip out.

Cooked something new last night, griddled marinated gochujang pork with stir fry veg, brown rice and some kimchee on the side. Will do that again.

Well this is going to be handy, a pokestop outside my house. See if this has more lasting appeal than Ingress did.

I've used this app for about a week and it's great for hiding notifications you need to do something about later.
Only just launched and I'm surprised I'm not seeing more about it.

Cooked Korean chicken stew for the first time. Very nice but a little too hot, less chilli flakes next time.

An interesting feature of the new Firebase is that with the storage option you can host a small static web site, with your own custom domain and you get a free SSL certificate. All on the free plan as long as you aren't expecting massive hits.
I was hosting a simple app promotion page on github.io but you can't get the custom domain with SSL directly which was something I needed for a beacon experiment.
Now I'm on Firebase I'll be exploring some of the more app centric features as well, their free plan has pretty generous allowances and it seems like Google are throwing their weight behind it, giving time in the IO keynote to it.
App success made simple

Just to clarify, you don't get the custom domain in this, you bring that yourself and hook it up. But the SSL certificate is and that's the expensive bit if you want a reliable one.

Why did the Pidgey cross the road.. at least it did it safely on a crossing, aware of its surroundings.

My prediction was correct but what a dull looking statue.

Went to London zoo yesterday and snapped this with my Nexus 6P. Pretty impressed with how it came out.

Got an Eddystone URL beacon today and programmed it up to point to a space on Google Spaces, now anyone wandering nearby can go see my apps and join a discussion about them here http://goo.gl/2872Yv

Thanks +Luke Wroblewski for the inspiration.

Great friendly service, always turns up on time and really has a way with dogs.

Amazing food and good friendly service. Order the recommended number of dishes and you won't go hungry and no huge bill either.

Must be the biggest range of cookware in town. Really good to browse around, doubt you'd not find what you want and probably loads you hadn't thought of.

Friendly with a great cake selection. Fair bit of seating upstairs in a nice calm shabby chic style.

A must visit if you are exploring Bath for the first time. The crescent is nice and good to get an insight into how these houses used to be run. Doesn't take long to get around but with experts in each room it's interesting and informative.
