Did I miss the chance to enter? Looks like I may have, ah well, I'd better just earn the money to pay my own way. Good to see Sanur again - another reason to get my Trader / Tempo /Steel Genius act together this year! Nice breakdown of the structure of a promotion, off to review mine...

Oddly enough, this is something the B2C online marketers worked out quite a while ago - but how many B2B marketers, even in relatively simple transactional businesses, never mind complex sales environments, are still in broadcast mode?

Great post and I agree with your analysis and to  avoid wasting more time, marketers should align their marketing efforts with the prospect's buying cycle!

Worth heading into London on the first Friday of every month - no fee, just what you eat & drink, some excellent conversations in a relaxed atmosphere - business has flowed (as has beer!)

Alan Watts has a lovely way of expressing the whole consciousness and awakening thing ...
If you feel the message of this video, know that in some way, you asked for it to be given to you at this time. <3 We have each others back like that.

Nice article from Richard Branson, worth clicking through just for the Jordan LaPlante TEDx talk, and Branson adds some good points in the text too.

Introduction
Focus Coach, Founder of TheBusyFool.com, creator of the Opportunity Matrix prioritisation tool, author of The A to Z of Loving Work

Do what you love for a living, and make a living doing what you love.  I believe we spend far too much of our waking lives at work to spend it doing something other than what we love.

At an individual client level, I help people find their Focus, those ideas, activities and opportunities that your love AND will create your success.

At a business level, I help you make the most of your precious time, effort, money & resources.  I believe there are only 2 Big Business Questions:
  • How much do we want to do this?
  • Will we make any money at it?
Everything else is detail, until you have a positive answer to those questions - only then do you spend the time to do a full strategic analysis and due diligence.
