Kartki z pamiętnika:
środa - Baśki było miło,
czwartek - kłopoty z internetem,
piątek - czwarta próba udana, mam łącze, ale nie mam jednej fazy, prąd wyłączyli około południa. Dogrzewam się farelką, bo ogrzewanie nie działa.
Już sobota - internet działa bez zarzutu. Fazy w dalszym ciągu nie ma. Lodówki nie otwieram, bo jedzonko może się zaśmierdnąć.

Marketers: You Can't Do More of EVERYTHING

In new research released yesterday, ExactTarget (disclosure: client) interviewed 2,500+ marketers and found that they plan to increase marketing spend almost across-the-board this year:

- 58% will increase spend on email
- 53% on SMS
- 54% on SEM/SEO
- 57% on social
- 60% on marketing automation
- 43% on banners
- 49% on mobile push
- 50% on social ads

How is this possible?
Where is this money coming from?

In my analysis (http://buff.ly/1aHhoMT) I write about this being the symptom of an immature, confused industry where marketers cannot keep up with the pace of change. 

The way I see it, if marketers are just saying "yes, give me more of everything" it's because they are either too bullish on marketing, or don't fully understand what is (and what is not) working for them. I'll bet on the latter. 

Tracking and measurement aptitude should precede budget allocation. This is clearly not always the case.
