Crazy. Facebook did A/B testing to determine that users blamed FB on left, iOS on right, for slowness. via @deeje

Wrote a bit about my personal journey from accepting adversity to seeking it out.
Life rarely moves in a straight line. It moves unforgivingly through peaks and valleys, highs and lows. Your career is no different. When I first started my career in technology, at a fairly young age, I had a pretty clear picture of what I wanted... | Andrew Dumont | Svbtle

Absolutely honored to be included as one of the Forbes 30 under 30 in Marketing. A lot of brilliant minds on these lists, all far more than I.

There's something so inspiring about listening to Elon. Such a succinct speaker, soft-spoken and brilliant.

Honored to be living in a time with such an amazing entrepreneur.

I just interviewed Elon Musk, founder of Tesla, PayPal, and SpaceX, check it out:

I wrote a bit about some of the lessons I've learned while growing our side project +Stride to $20,000 in revenue.
The idea was simple. We thought that the web was missing an alternative to bloated and dry CRM incumbents. The web needed a CRM product that did its job, then got out of the way. With that, Stride was born. Since launch in mid-2012, we’ve... | Andrew Dumont | Business Development at Moz. Creator of Strideapp.com. Not a guru.

I spent this past week at Stanford University for an executive education program on influence and negotiation, and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

I negotiated with a Nigerian senator, played basketball with classmates from all over the world, and talked baseball (and Ichiro) with a C-level executive from Mitsubishi in Japan.

Feeling very thankful for the opportunity.

There's a lot of things in life that are out of your control.

Your work ethic isn't one of those things.

Early last year, +Adrian Pike, +Nathan Carnes, +Amiel Martin and I started building Stride during our free evenings and weekends. Since then, along with the help of +Kevin Chau, we continued to grow, iterate and better the service whenever we could.

Today, we're happy to announce that Stride has been acquired.

We're confident and excited for the future of the company, and can't wait to watch it grow from the sidelines.
Stride, a bootstrapped CRM company out of Seattle, has been sold to Neil Patel and Hiten Shah, the longtime investor partners behind KISSmetrics and Crazy..
