TweetI give Google a ton of credit. They’ve done a great job scaring webmasters shitless about building links. The fact is, links are a necessary evil of SEO. You can’t improve rankings without them. 3 years ago, you could fire off 20,000 blog comments and rank for anything you want. Today, it’s less about quantity […]

The CEO of The Pin People, Lapel Pin Company
Introduction
Hey everyone!  I am currently the CEO of The Pin People - Lapel Pin Company.  They are actually the largest lapel pin design, manufacturing, and supplier in the United States. In my heart, I am a full blown entrepreneur which is a HUGE change from last career.  Ok since you are looking at the about me, I will give you the low down. I am a retired Police Officer from New York.  I started a lapel pin company  as a side "gig" back in 2000.  Everything changed after the Attack on the World Trade Center on September 11th.  After responding to Ground Zero on September 11th and returning home to my family, four months later, I began creating lapel pins for many of the rescue workers and families of 9/11. This grew into a large business that began to incorporate police departments, fire departments, military units, corporations and private organizations.  You could say that we create the first Brand name in the lapel pin industry. When I retired as a Police Officer, I jumped into the business full time and began to expand every way possible.  So, if you ever need lapel pins, just ask me and I can help guide you to get exactly what you need :)
Bragging rights
Have created the first Brand Name in the Lapel Pin industry. I am a former United States Marine and retired Police Officer.

Placed an order on December 27th, 2015. Was supposed to be delivered today and was called last night to confirm that they would be delivering between 6:30 to 8:30 AM. So the family was woken up at 5:45 and the delivery truck shows up at 7 AM. They have half the order! I told them that I did not want the TV if the Fireplace Stand was not available. They told me to call customer service, as they are a third party shipper. I call customer service, and they tell me that I have to go to the store because I ordered it in store. They can't help me. I go to the store and "Filomina" finally spoke to me, after trying to get the poor employee to get rid of me. She stated she is the only person to speak to in the store, because there is no store manager working. She continues to tell me that there is nothing he can do because the item is in transit on the truck and she can't modify/cancel or do anything with the order for 24 hours. So now you have my money and he product! Talk about being held hostage! The next delivery date is January 4th, because of their screw up! Tried to call the store manager, Mark Fazio, who never returned my call. Now here solution was for me to place a completely new order and pay for it and then they will refund me i a few days for this order. Is there any training for Best Buy employees? I call customer relations who were very helpful, but they were hung up on by the store and apologized profusely. So now you have my money and the items. Your customer service is piss poor! Best Buy sets up an internal system for shipping and they tell me it is my problem because of how things are shipped through their company. No make good, just a oh well, you have to just suck it up for another week and we will see what we can do. Good to know that this is how you treat your customers. You should be ashamed of yourself! I will be sure to tell everyone that I can about how I was treat by your West Nyack store and Best Buy customer service.

Could not have been nastier! Quoted one price on the phone and asked them to reserve the room. Upon arrival, they increased the price, with two different reasons why. The front desk could not be more confrontational, to the point that the staff literally chuckled at me telling me we could not get a better price somewhere else, almost happy to see that they were trying to squeeze me. Glad to have found a four star hotel rather than this two star hotel, for a much better rate, but more importantly with a very nice staff and great rooms! The hotel is in a awkward location, and right next to the highway which is very loud and I think that almost $200 a night for a substandard hotel is crazy when the price that was quoted was $109. Almost double the price when they find out you want the military rate. I guess that is what they think of military.

My favorite Pizza around! The food is just completely outstanding and I have not found something that I have tried and not liked on the menu. The owners could not be nicer! There are a lot of pizza places to choose from, but this is definitely the only stop that I make now.

I would highly suggest the Royal Sonesta. We had a little issue that quickly addressed by the Manager, and I can't wait to go back again...

Horrible experience! I ordered two baskets of cookies to be delivered as a thank you.. One basket was delivered and after we realized that the other basket was not delivered, putting me in an awkward position to begin with, I called the store. I spoke to a woman, who could care less and said that the driver forgot about the other basket! She said that the driver would return, but at that point the people that the basket was for were no longer there! Awful customer service! Would never use again... It was a very expensive "Thank you!'

I just the read the last review and I have to say that I could not disagree more! The bagels are the best around and they are made right on the premises. The place across the street does not. The service is FAST and polite. I have never known the owner to be mean, and actual donates TONS of stuff to the local schools. His place is spotless! I would only recommend Bagel Express and am a regular customer. Fred (the owner) has had most of the same workers for years, and all of them are friendly, fast and courteous. Highly Recommend!
