We have plenty of other gigs lined up already in 2015, but if you only come to one, make it this one.

Sometimes it's easy to take for granted how much land there is in America. Sure, it's harder and harder to find places that haven't been explored, but it's also become easier to forget places that we've already been....

Gibson LG2 Americana. The last for a while. Certainly the nicest guitar I've ever played.

Wilko Johnson, UK blues guitar legend, appears to be indestructible. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29727632
Former Dr Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson says he has been "cured" of the terminal pancreatic cancer with which he was diagnosed in 2012.

It looks like we might have a Banksy in Sutton Coldfield. This appeared behind the Bank of Cyprus a few days ago. Impossible to say if it's genuine or not, but the consensus seems to be positive. I'm sure it's making a deep political statement, but it's lost on me I'm afraid.

The Bank of Cyprus, you say? No obvious message, you say?

Cyprus was invaded in 1974 by Turkey. It remains divided. Something to do with that, I would think.

Introduction
Based in Sutton Coldfield, but regularly in London, Munich and Indianapolis, I work for a cloud-based applications division of a major IT company, which focuses on marketing automation. I started in marketing automation in the mid-90s, having previously been involved with Industrial Automation (specifically communications protocols), and porting code between UNIX systems in the CAD/CAM world.

I'm a member of the acoustic blues-jazz-country-roots-standards duo The Distillaires. You can find us on (whispers it) Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/thedistillaires

Lately I've become re-obssessed with Linux, and even more so with Chrome OS.
