On Monday, April 11, 2016 iTeach at Kennesaw State University, part of the Bagwell College of Education became a Future Ready regional partner with the Alliance for Excellent Education in partnership with the US Department of Education in the Future Ready Schools program.
Future Ready Schools is an initiative working to make personalized, student-centered learning a reality for all learners. This program helps district leaders plan and implement research-based digital learning strategies. Regional partners assist district leaders in realizing the value of digital tools and building learning environments, which engage all students.
iTeach Instructional Technology Coaches are already working with local districts to usher personalized learning into Georgia’s schools by providing a new, innovative style of professional development. Job-embedded professional development builds capacity in teachers at a grass-roots level allowing teachers to create innovative learning experiences that utilizing technology to transform student experiences.
