Q: Are you a rich man?
Bob: When you mean rich, what you mean?
Q: Do you have a lot of possessions? A lot of money in the bank?
Bob: Possessions make you rich? I don't have that type of riches. My riches is life, forever.

for those whining about the refs, let's recap a few significant calls that went against Duke:
-the first 2 fouls against Winslow were blown calls. The first was a charge. The second was a clean block
-Jahlil got ALL ball on his 3rd foul call
-Kaminsky intentionally fouled Jahlil near the end of the game (grabbed him by the waist from behind). Just a regular foul was called
-Tyus Jones was fouled on his 3 pointer near the end of the game
-Decker charged, then walked on one of his moves and scores to the basket.
Yeah, there were some calls that went Duke's way. The tipped ball at the end went out on Winslow & Wisconsin should have gotten the ball. Yeah, Winslow touched the baseline on his move near the end, but that is a call that would get missed a lot. There are missed calls every game, both ways. I am certain I could go back and watch this game and make note of many more calls that went against Duke. So keep crying. Duke is still National Champions.

And conveniently, Bo Ryan (or rather, Bo Cryan) offered no criticism of the referees when Nigel Hayes' shot was after the buzzer against Kentucky. Did you hear Calipari whining about that?

What offends me today: that just because this moron loser is wearing a Gold's Gym shirt, people jump to the conclusion that he is a bodybuilder. ;)

I may have posted this before, but this is a large Bob Marley piece done on a sheet of metal by an artist in New Orleans. I have it hanging on my patio. The other side is Marilyn Monroe. :)

Takeaways from this year:
-Probably Coach K's best coaching job ever. 4 Freshman, 3 as starters.
-Grayson Allen is as good as us Duke fans thought. Wow. Just wow.
-Tyus Jones is the best point guard in college.
-Winslow has the potential to be an NBA superstar
-Both Okafor & Winslow will leave for the pros. Tyus made a statement that he might be ready too, but I think he'll stay at least one more year.
-The TEAM concept was never more prevalent. The TEAM came together & executed with Okafor on the bench
-This season will help recruiting tremendously. Coach K proves he can win with multiple one and dones. Prior to tonight, most of them went to Kentucky.
-Contrary to media's belief, you don't have to be "undefeated" or have the National Player of the Year to win it all. You just have to be a better TEAM
-Duke haters will always blame the refs. ALWAYS
-They make championship rings for the thumb.
Way to go Duke!!

I had an excellent dining experience. The staff was very attentive & the atmosphere was great. I ordered the Honey Glazed Redfish and it was really, really good. Loved it. Recommended

We had a couple of minor issues with check in and the cleaning staff but the hotel went above and beyond to remedy the situation by offering us a few "freebies" to make up for the inconveniences. The place is very nice and in a great location. The Carousel Bar is a must experience for the area, but premium drinks can be a bit pricey. I would recommend and stay here again.
