As a quick introduction - I'm a big fan of steampunk and a long time subscriber to various blogs and pages on the subject. I like the aesthetics and I've always wanted to create something of my own - a Victorian piece of clothing or a gadget. Spending most of my time online I'm not exactly what you'd call a "crafts person", so none of my little projects have yet got done. Still, I keep my hopes alive to contribute at least somehow.

So recently my colleges in UK successfully launched a virtual world game on Kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1130243928/kazopark-free-browser-based-virtual-world-for-teen It's a nice project and I'm very happy for them, I've been helping every way I could. But just today I got into an argument with their director (Kevin), who basically said that "nobody's interested in steampunk themes anymore". Being a passionate person I've strongly disagreed.

Our argument basically boiled down to "put your money where your mouth is". He agreed to add a steampunk themed item for every pledge of £5, steampunk themed set of clothing for every 10 pledges and a steampunk themed room for every 100 pledges. I am now very actively trying to make all of it happen :)

Would you help me? What I need is basically a large number of people pledging their "special steampunk pledge". I really, REALLY want this to happen. Also, if you have any suggestions or other ideas - pleas let me know :)
