I sincerely hope these changes work out for the better of the community and the dev ecosystem. Big Changes in Alfresco’s Community Strategy sounds promising.

I am just getting started with digikam and I really love what I have seen so far. Unfortunately, it seems binary packages are pretty much outdated - even for recent distributions like Ubuntu utopic which is what I am running. Digikam 4.2 was the most recent version I have found. What is the easiest way to get a recent version running on utopic?

Thanks
