Holy Cow, what a match it was.

+Borussia Mönchengladbach could have led with three goals, but nevertheless my +SC Freiburg came back and won the match. Another year in +Bundesliga is almost certain now.

Photos come later as I have to clean myself -> got a beer shower!

Another MAS plane with problems, but in most cases it ends good. A tyre burst and now the plane burns fuel before landing.

But let's hope the best for MAS192!

Mount Shasta, the first large volcano one notices while traveling north towards the Pacific Northwest, rises like a surprise from the floor of California's Central Valley.  Today is an easy day, just two legs, San Francisco to Seattle and back again.  The weather is good in both cities.  I should make it home a few minutes early tonight.

Little jewel for a very fair price just South of Södertälje. Very good food and great scenery. Rooms are great for a historical building, even if you can hear your neighbours pretty well.

A true 5-star hotel. Watch out for special offers to make the stay more affordable. Perfect base to explore to magical Taroko Gorge. The staff of this hotel is truely awesome and help to find solutions if there are problems or if you need help with your train or bus connection.

Sehr solide Schwarzwälder Küche. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Freundliche, flinke Bedienung. Große Speisekarte, wo auch Vegetarier etwas finden. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen. Gerne wieder!

Really loved Taipei Zoo which is in my opinion one of the best three zoos in the world, maybe even the best. The entrance fee is very affordable and there is so much too see that you can easily spend a full day there. Food and drinks are also very reasonably priced, so are the souvenirs. The zoo is large as most animals are not kept in cages but roaming freely. Very good to take close up photos. While the two pandas are lovely, don't forget to visit the Animals of Formosa or the pet animal section.

For Norwegian dimensions a fast and effective train, for European standards a mostly decent, but quite expensive one ;) Make sure you catch the right train - other trains serving this route are slow and prone to delays.

Nice little café near Freiburg Teacher College in Littenweiler. They offer a la carte breakfast, cakes, coffee and tea variations plus some small daily lunch. We had an extended breakfast there, which was pretty good. The service was overmatched at times, but still acceptable. For breakfast (pictured) + coffee flatrate I paid € 10. First Sunday every month they offer brunch upon pre-reservation.

Shadow and sun here. This could be a great place to stay with some minor adjustments. At the moment it offers not enough value for money. I really liked the spacious room with included hot tub (fed by hot spring), comfy bed and nice balcony with view. Breakfast buffet left no wishes open, the crew could just keep the food a bit warmer. Better take your dinner early (or look for other options) as you wont get anything after 20:45. Sadly few people speak English here, so it was no possible to arrange any trips or even spa treatment as all information is Chinese only. I know this hotel aims primarily for the Chinese market, but this is a pity. Much smaller hotels in Taiwan do better in this aspect. The area is perfect for biking and walks, but the bikes offers (1 gear) are crap. Why not a few marked trails up the hills? There are few other places with such natural beauty as the East Rift Valley.
