Hi everyone! Thanks for the ping +martin shervington
, I missed the first one somehow yesterday. I use Google Apps for Business and I really enjoy it. For me, Google Apps does so much more than give you great office programs for your business. The added security is great, I do trust Google when it come to security, so that is a plus for me.
The 24/7 customer support is also nice. Anytime I get stuck on something related to Google Apps the customer service team will work hard to help you get the information you need, even if they know less than you (which will happen from time to time). They will spend hours collecting the right content to get you going in the right direction. They will also help you setup and link your account to your website properly and even help you to get your social links properly connected. Remember, it is Google, and most of the folks at Google Apps for Business understand search and how to properly help you get set up to be found, everything else from there is about the content you create.
Then of course all the 3rd party apps that can be added are excellent. I think small or large businesses have many more options regardless of what is needed. Each company is going to be different in terms of what each needs, that is why Google Apps is great choice in my opinion. The options are that are available will work in all sorts of scenarios. The integration across platforms is also getting better and more seamless.
In some cases Google Apps has been a little behind in regards to other Google products, like sinking up with G+ for example. Then Google adjusts as always, and now there is not as many complications. This is only going to get better over time I believe, just as G+ is becoming more integrated across Google products, I think the same will be true with Google Apps for Business. If this is true, companies with Google Apps for Business may have an advantage over ones that don't. Just as companies that use G+ now have an advantage over companies that don't. This is just my opinion, hope it helps, and I have never used the office 365. Thanks for the great question +Andreas Krause
