Unfortunately I have to say that Ubuntu's X is more stable with a proprietary graphics driver (NVIDIA) than with an open source one (Intel) :(

Será que não foi o restore automático do backup to g+ que deixou as datas corretas?

http://blog.indiegogo.com/2013/07/ubuntu-edge-campaign-smashes-indiegogo-records.html

"After raising $1 million in their first 4 hours, the Ubuntu Edge campaign has gone on to raise $5 million in less than two days. It’s breaking Indiegogo records left and right, and with your help, it could make history. “Ubuntu” — a free and open source Linux operating system — wants to make a smartphone, but not just any smartphone. In fact, the Ubuntu Edge might just make your existing phone seem old. It will be robust enough to even double as a desktop computer, and with a sapphire crystal screen, only a diamond could scratch it! In order to make a phone this game-changing, the Ubuntu team is running what could eventually be the largest crowdfunding campaign ever"

Can't believe it, it's 2013 and I still get ć instead of ç when I type ' + c in Ubuntu. Conectiva fixed that in 1998 or so. And it was working on Raring before I upgraded to Saucy.

The problem never gets fixed, in part, because some people keep pushing for this "AltGr+,", as a proper solution, which it's not. You don't fix the user, you fix the software. There should be a Brazilian layout for intl keyboards, so that we get the same behavior like in other systems, which introduced pt_BR internationalization to the masses first.

Heck, the first Linux distribution to actually introduce proper Linux pt_BR support in Brazil was Conectiva, the only one which got it right.

(I'm as guilty as the next developer for not pushing a fix for it to my favorite Linux distro or upstream)

Fortunately, Brazilian desktop users rarely buy US keyboards anymore, so this affects only a few of us.

(I add GTK_IM_MODULE=cedilla and hack my keymap files if necessary).

14.04 is going to be a great release; entire bundles of infrastructure just one command away. Here's the beta of what we're working on.

Here's a full Rack stack with a sample rails app with Kibana/Logstash logging and Nagios monitoring backed by Postgres. Time from 0 to deployed? About 6 minutes.

Can anyone spot the mistake I made when putting this together?

For a long time we've been concentrating on making Juju and Ubuntu scale out. But we can't forget about the lone person who just wants the ease of use of Juju but can't afford a large cloud bill.

Well here you go, all-in-one WordPress installation on one instance. More to come when real containers arrive. Watch out HOWTO authors, I'm down to 5 commands!
