This very bold development started several years ago and was riddled by the housing bubble and recession in 2008. Montaluce is a Tuscan themed development near Dahlonega and at the center of it resides the Montaluce vinery with its own vineyard and wine production. It is a beautiful place especially for special events like weddings and other social gatherings. The restaurant quality changed a lot over the years and now created a dining menu, nothing too fancy but very tasty. The international wine selection is excellent since Montaluce served wine from the very beginning before they even raked in the first harvest of their own grapes. It is a tip place to hang out for a romantic lunch, dinner or brunch.

Great Mexican place. We always get the Ceviche and Guacamole Dip, both very fresh tasting. My wife and her friends love the special drinks - Sangria, Margarita, etc. and I am more the purist gin & tonic guy. All drinks we had so far had been perfectly prepared and considered high gravity drinks compared to other places. Very nice staff!

We were looking for a pet friendly place to dine in Dahlonega and found Back Porch Oyster Bar. Very friendly staff and surprisingly good food. Looking at this place from the outside it is very inconspicuous and some would not expect the quality of food served. Great food, very friendly staff and most importantly - pet friendly!

I love Buck's Cafe in Highlands, NC. When all other dining places are shut Buck's Cafe is still open. Coffee tastes great and sandwiches have an interesting, delicious twist. Try the salmon sandwich!
