«Invest in building great teams, and lead by example, coaching them developing the right attitude toward #Agile . After a while, and some failed approaches, they will eventually find out practices which are supportive of their intentions, and will become more productive over time. Also don't think you can sit on a bench and enjoy the ride, because the Agile mindset is rooted on continuous improvement, and that means, your bench will change shape, and move… probably every couple of weeks»
You mentioned "risk." I think that's key. I really like Rex Black's risk-based testing.
And set-based design as well. I don't know if you know that Jeff almost put that into Scrum early on.
The only hesitation I have is a nick on my conscience by James Bach. He's really convinced me that exploratory testing is valuable. I think that goes beyond what's in most of the agile books.
Anyhow, congrats on the keynote and keep up the good work!!!
This would ultimately contradict the concept of "Agile" as an emergent and adaptive approach to work. He will share more about what are the element which make Agile Team performing. How many of those same elements can be used at an organizational level? Let's not try to define an "Agile Organization" but present what type of anatomy an organization should think of adopting to start moving their culture to a more supportive collaborative culture for healthy Agile grwoth. As Agile is going mainstream, more and more companies are looking into already "backed" solutions to adopt. Well the success of Agile is strongly based on a different way of thinking, a cultural change, a transformation as many like to call it.
