Really cool Agile place to work ;-)

are you looking for a job or internship ? apply now at jobs.babbel.com !
My 12 weeks in Babbel's Backend Service Team. omosola – 11 Sep 2014. Omosola and Team. As my internship comes to a close (only two days left!), it seems like a great time to reflect on the past twelve weeks of my life here with Babbel. I have to say that twelve weeks ago, I had literally no idea ...

Some rough notes out of my own keynote, feedback is very welcome :-)

#Testing is an attitude, an approach and a practice: agile42 founder and senior coach +Andrea Tomasini shares the full notes from his experience at Agile Testing Days 2013 in Berlin including the slides and a discussion about his opening keynote "Agile Testing is nonsense, because Agile is testing…"

«Invest in building great teams, and lead by example, coaching them developing the right attitude toward #Agile . After a while, and some failed approaches, they will eventually find out practices which are supportive of their intentions, and will become more productive over time. Also don't think you can sit on a bench and enjoy the ride, because the Agile mindset is rooted on continuous improvement, and that means, your bench will change shape, and move… probably every couple of weeks»

Great minds think alike :-)

You mentioned "risk." I think that's key. I really like Rex Black's risk-based testing.

And set-based design as well. I don't know if you know that Jeff almost put that into Scrum early on.

The only hesitation I have is a nick on my conscience by James Bach. He's really convinced me that exploratory testing is valuable. I think that goes beyond what's in most of the agile books.

Anyhow, congrats on the keynote and keep up the good work!!!

Still at the airport, no way we are going to be starting on time... And still boarding anyway. If we add the fact that I have 45m layover in Frankfurt, including passport control... And that's the only flight left today... I am not going to like flying on Sunday anymore after this experience :-(

Come and join me :-)

Our senior coach +Andrea Tomasini is going to held a keynote at the second edition of the Manage Agile Konferenz in Berlin, on October 23rd, trying to challenge some wishful thinking about the idea that it is possible to create a "blueprint" of an #Agile organization.

This would ultimately contradict the concept of "Agile" as an emergent and adaptive approach to work. He will share more about what are the element which make Agile Team performing. How many of those same elements can be used at an organizational level? Let's not try to define an "Agile Organization" but present what type of anatomy an organization should think of adopting to start moving their culture to a more supportive collaborative culture for healthy Agile grwoth. As Agile is going mainstream, more and more companies are looking into already "backed" solutions to adopt. Well the success of Agile is strongly based on a different way of thinking, a cultural change, a transformation as many like to call it.
Agile is not ending at the Product Development level, and is not only about Software Development: Agile is not about "adoption", it is about "becoming"
