This is good. Really good.

I did not expect either kid to even want to try this! Monkey (4) loved it, Mungbean (1) liked the sauce. A great success.

I tried baking this with a few changes:

- full fat regular flavoured yoghurt as I am not a fan of low or zero fat versions;
- wholemeal flour as I need to use it up; and
- 3/4 cup of demerara sugar instead of 1 cup of white sugar.

The result was good. It turned out brown instead of pale yellow because of my substitutions, I expect, but it is nice and moist.

No one's going to queue up for my version of nasi lemak, but I found it tasty enough. And adequate for satisfying the craving!

Cheese. And broccoli. What's not to like?

The Richard Jefferies Museum is a wee gem of a place. I'm sad we discovered it so late!

I tried these for brunch. I really liked them, Monkey loved the egg salad but not the muffin, Mungbean at least tried it - she's refused eggs on all previous occasions.

Make this ahead of time and it's as easy as opening a jar of pesto. We omit the sesame seeds due to allergies.

This is an absolutely lip-smacking recipe! My four-year old loved munching on the pork ribs. My only change would be to use a little less salt if cooking for young children.

I would only cook this on a day when someone else can keep an eye on the kids - for us, that's a Sunday.
